Overview

The silhouette of the CLS-Class coupe is as intimidating as it is aerodynamic. Mercedes-Benz equips the 2012 CLS550 Coupe with a brand-new twin-turbo 4.6 Liter V8 engine. Billed as the first in the world, the re-engineered 7-speed automatic gearbox endows the CLS-Class with unprecedented performance. When driving in standard conditions, the drive system emphasizes the rear, giving it handling that no other car in its price range can match.

CLS63 AMG Engine and Performance

The CLS63 AMG, meanwhile, comes with a 6.3 liter, dual-turbo V8 that provides 525 horsepower. The Performance Package boosts the power of the engine to a fire-breathing 550 horsepower.
